Yes the 426A can run card readers. I have some used units for sale on the classified page in my web site. You will have to change the software in your MEMS IV console to make it a DHC (Dedicated Hose Controller) and purchase a Verifone Ruby POS system to accept credit cards. The DHC becomes the interface between the dispensers and the Ruby. The Ruby is your interface to the Credit Card Network. The Ruby is a full-blown Point of Sale system. It is your cash register; pump controller and credit card processor all in one.
Another option would be the Bennett GoPay Debit/Credit card reader kit. You will still need the Ruby and the DHC, but depending on the network you choose to process debit/credit you will have the ability to accept debit cards.
