EBW's Emergency Shut-Off Valve immediately stops product flow in the event of fire or collision at the dispenser. A patented adaptor shears clean upon impact, causing the Viton® Poppet to seal on the valve body, preventing fuel spillage. When fire occurs, a fusible link releases the fulcrum arm, once again engaging the Viton® Poppet. Standard 1.5 NPT openings allow minimal flow restriction and a pre-drilled test plug is included for line pressure testing. Compression seal and threaded base models are suitable for secondary dual wall piping. The valve can be Boss or U-Bolt mounted to accomodate your particular application. It is UL listed and conforms to NFPA 30A requirements (the closing feature of an automatic shut-off valve must be checked at least once per year by manually tripping and holding linkage) Easy to replace adaptors slide on and off valve base without lifting dispenser. Adaptor options include: male, female, and union.
